How does multi-tenancy work?

Each customer (tenant) gets a completely isolated database. Your license keys, activations, and usage data are stored separately from every other tenant. This provides strong data isolation, independent scaling, and simple backup/restore.

How are API keys secured?

API keys are hashed with HMAC-SHA256 before storage — the raw key is never stored in our database. We support three key types: secret (server-side), public (read-only, client-safe), and ephemeral (auto-expiring).

What happens if I exceed my plan limits?

Accepted Answer

You'll receive notifications at 80% and 100% of your monthly API-call quota. Exceeding the monthly allowance won't block or reject your requests — your service keeps running, and calls beyond your plan cap are recorded as overage for review. You can upgrade your plan at any time to raise your limits. (Separately, per-API-key rate limits protect the platform from bursts and return a standard 429 with a Retry-After header.)

Can I export my data?

Yes. GDPR Article 20 (data portability) is built in. Use the data export endpoint to download all your data as JSON. You can also request account deletion with a 30-day grace period.

Yes. Configure webhook endpoints in your dashboard to receive real-time notifications for license, activation, subscription, and usage events. Payloads are signed with HMAC-SHA256 for verification.
